Due Diligence: Preparing Community Sector Leaders for the Work Health & Safety Act

This interactive forum held at the Arts Centre on 8 September 2011 drew a total of 232 registrations from the Community and Children’s Services sector to discuss the impact of the Model Work Health & Safety Act that will be endorsed and enforced by all states and territories from January 2012. Entitled “Due Diligence: Preparing Community Sector Leaders for the Work Health & Safety Act”, this seminar targeted CEOs, board chairpersons and executive managers, delivering information the experts who developed and will implement the new legislation around the requirements for positive due diligence to avoid the consequences of non-compliance.
